Born in London, to parents from Yorkshire, with a Greek Grandfather, Ben was brought up in Cardiff, South Wales. He considers it a blessing to have grown up in a loving Christian home, but only came to know Jesus as his own Saviour at the age of 20, on an EMW camp.
Ben has been working as a social worker since 2010, moving to Powys in 2014. He is very passionate about working with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Ben is married to Catherine and together they have 5 children. Ben is a fan of Cardiff City Football Club and enjoys playing and watching a range of sports.
Ben and Catherine have been at NEC since 2014, with Ben joining the eldership here in October 2020. Ben is involved in running the children & young people’s work.
