Here in Newtown we are surrounded by reminders of harvest. This year, more than most, we have been reminded that in order to grow, crops need water and sunshine! Once again, farmers are busy gathering their crops. Is it by chance that they have grown? We are thankful to the Lord of the harvest who sends the rain and sunshine and provides all of our material benefits.
You are warmly invited to join us for our special Harvest Services at the end of September at Newtown Evangelical Church on Sunday 22nd September.
Our morning service at 10am will be particularly geared towards families, while our 6pm service will also be very accessible to all. Why not come along and find out more about the God who provides, and His greatest provision of all, the Lord Jesus Christ?
Then on Tuesday 24th September we have our annual Harvest Supper. Our guest speaker this year is Prof Stuart Burgess. This event is by ticket only – we’d love you to join us, get in touch to secure your place, or just speak to someone you know from the church.
