Dan Stachura

March 18, 2022 By Admin Leave a Comment

From Poland, in the summer of 2012, Dan and his fiancé Gosia prayed and talked about the decision of moving abroad. There were few options but God had wonderfully paved a way for them to start their married life here in Newtown through Gosia’s family connections with NEC since the 1980s.

Thanks to the help of brothers and sisters Dan was able to arrive in the UK in November 2012 in order to settle down, put aside some money for a wedding and house, before returning to Poland in May 2013, where he married his bride.

Dan returned to Newtown, followed shortly after by Gosia following her technical exams. Dan & Gosia have been attending the church here in Newtown together since.

Dan was saved in 2004 during a Christian English Camp in his home town of Bielsko-Biała, Poland. The Lord touched his heart during an experience called ‘The Maze’, where you travel through a set of different rooms and learn that life without Jesus is a complete mess… then you carry on to find out what He had done for all sinners on the Cross of Calvary –

Dan writes: “He died on the cross and then and then rose again on the third day, so I could have my sins forgiven!”

Amen to that, Dan!

One of the most exciting parts of church life here at Newtown Evangelical Church is seeing people come to faith in Jesus Christ. We're grateful to God that we've continued to see that happening in recent months. The command of the Bible to those who … [Read More...]

⭐THIS SUNDAY!⭐ We're all seeking something to put our hope in. The Bible claims to offer genuine, certain hope- but how do we know we can trust the Bible?!🤔 Join us at 5:30pm on Sunday as Dr Andy Christofides helps us look at the reliability of the Bible. #HotPotatoEvening pic.twitter.com/Er74iW08jy

Remember, remember the 5th of November. Treason against the king- thankfully Guy Fawkes' plot was scuppered! 🔥🧨 The Bible says we're all guilty of treason against the King of kings! Praise God for Jesus who has taken the punishment that our treason deserves! ✝️ #bonfirenight🔥 pic.twitter.com/5DDN3qW7Pe
